In Home Physical Therapy Service is a provider for Medicare part B, Medicare HMO, Medicaid (Husky), Many insurance Out of Network and Private pay, Most of our senior patients are covered by Medicare. Secondary insurance such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, AARP, and United Health Care will cover the co-payment. Call us today and we will verify coverage with your insurance carrier. We also encourage you to contact your carrier prior to your first visit, to check for any limitations your policy may have regarding Physical Therapy. - Is it covered by Medicare?
Yes, if you have straight Medicare or a Medicare HMO " Medicare advantage plan" the service is covered. We are a Medicare part B provider, provides that unique outpatient Physical Therapy service in your home, call us so we can help you determine coverage.
- Will Insurance Pay for It ? And Who Bills Insurance ?
If you have the OT, PT, ST benefit in your insurance plan the insurance will pay (we can help you find out). We bill all insurance but we are only in network with a few insurances.
- What information do I need from my Insurance?
* What OT, PT or ST your insurance covers for each Home Health and Outpatient.
* What your copay is for each
* What criteria you need to qualify for each
* How many visits you are eligible for with each, over what time frame.
* Your deductible for the year.
You do not pay the Therapist, we bill your insurance and we will send you a bill showing what they have not paid and why (Deductible, Co-payment). If we are out of network they may send the check to you and we will bill you. In some instances, you may request a special service that is not paid by the insurer, in which case we would bill you directly. Our rates are comparable to outpatient therapy in a clinic and what we do is more functional, also you will save time and money by having us come to you at "NO" extra cost!
- What dose Out of Network mean?
Out of network refers to a provider who do not directly contract with an individual's insurer to provide service at a predetermined rate.
- What does private or cash pay mean?
Private/cash pay means just that. No more run of the mill, on the clock Therapist who stick around for 10-15 minutes, giving you canned programs that don't progress you towards your goals. Your Therapist comes in and sees you; you pay them, often time's we can offer package deals allowing you to purchase multiple visits at a reduced rate.
